Setup
- Install the app. In YouTrack, open Administration → Apps and install Pulse from JetBrains Marketplace. Installing apps requires the Low-level Admin Write permission.
- Pick a project. Use an existing project or create a new one for the blog. Its articles become the blog content.
- Configure Pulse. In the app settings, set Blog Project to that project. Optionally set Blog Name, which replaces “Pulse” in the header, for example “Acme Blog”.
- Create blogs. Add root-level articles to the project, one per blog: “Engineering”, “Product”, “Company news”.
- Write the first post. Open Pulse from the YouTrack main menu, choose a category and click Write. The YouTrack article editor opens with the new post placed under that blog.
Until a project is selected, Pulse shows a reminder to finish the setup.
