Introduction
Pulse turns YouTrack articles into a team blog. Your colleagues write in the editor they already know, and everyone reads, discusses and likes posts without leaving YouTrack.
Pulse is free. We recommend YouTrack 2026.2 or later. It is coming to JetBrains Marketplace.
Built on YouTrack articles
Pulse has no database of its own. The articles of one YouTrack project are the blog: root articles are blogs, their child articles are posts, and article comments are the discussion. See How it works for details.
Features
Magazine home page
The newest posts from every blog on one page, with author, date, reading time, excerpt and cover image.
Blogs as categories
Each blog is a tab in the header. The largest ones are always visible, the rest sit under “More”.
Familiar editor
Posts are YouTrack articles. Write in Markdown with images and attachments in the native article editor.
Readable posts
Clean typography, working in-post anchors, images that load without jumping, and Back returns you to where you were in the list.
Comments and threads
Reply to any comment to start a thread, like comments and @mention colleagues. Sort by top, newest or oldest.
Likes
Show appreciation with one click. Posts with the most likes and comments appear in the Popular sidebar.
Bookmarks
Save posts for later. Bookmarks are YouTrack article stars, so they also show up in the Knowledge Base.
Search
Press Ctrl+K or ⌘+K to search posts, people, comments, bookmarks and categories.
Light and dark
Pulse follows the YouTrack theme of each user.
